Tab for Morrissey, Suedehead (recorded version)
This is a complete tablature of the song.
I have tabbed all lead guitar lines - opening, chorus,
post-chorus part, interlude, and the fade out.

Some people say use a capo on the 2nd fret, but its not needed.
Its a tradeoff really, it makes the verse E chords easier,
but makes the verse D chords arpeggio more difficult.

Post-chorus part, clean lead guitar is silent during 1st two chords
A Bm G D (although this arpeggio makes it looks like a Bm)
e |--------------|--------------|--3---3---3--|--7---7---7--|
B |--------------|--------------|---3---3-----|---7---7-----|
G |--------------|--------------|4---4---4----|7---7---7----| REPEAT
D |--------------|--------------|-------------|-------------|
A |--------------|--------------|-------------|-------------|
E |--------------|--------------|-------------|-------------|

Then go back to the Verse, then to the Chorus again, and the Post-chorus part again.

Then, at about 2:10, there is this Interlude, p = pull off
G Bm G D several strums, vigorously
|3-3--3--5--5-5p3-3|2-2--2--2--------|3-3--3--5--5-5p3-3|----------|
|3---3--3--3-------|3---3--3-55-5p3-3|3---3--3--3-------|----------|
|4-----------------|2----------------|4-----------------|----------|
|5-----------------|-----------------|5-----------------|----------|
|------------------|-----------------|------------------|----------|
|------------------|-----------------|------------------|----------|

Then go back to the last Verse, then to the last Chorus, then fade out with this
version of the Post-chorus part:

Outro: Post-chorus part (two guitars arranged for one)
A Bm G D
e |--5---5---5-|--7---5---5-|--3---3---3-|--7---5---5-|
B |---5---5----|---7---7----|---3---3----|---7---7----|
G |6---6---6---|7---7---7---|4---4---4---|7---7---7---| REPEAT
D |------------|------------|------------|------------| & FADE
A |------------|------------|------------|------------| OUT
E |------------|------------|------------|------------|

There are actually two lead guitars layered in the outro on top of the
rhythm guitar. The more prominent one is the same from the regular Post-
Chorus part - it is silent during the first two chords (A and Bm), and
then plays the G and D (Bm) arpeggio. The second guitar only appears in the
outro and it starts in after the second repeat. It plays a quick arpeggio
between A and Bm, down to G and back to A and Bm. Listen to the record
carefully and you can hear it. I've just made the arrangement above to
try to capture both parts, but its not 100% correct.

Lyrics
Why do you come here?
And why-y-y, why do you hang around?
I'm so sorry
I'm so so-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Why do you come here, when you know it makes things hard for me?
When you know, oh why do you come?
Why do you telephone?
And why-y-y, send me silly notes?
I'm so sorry
I'm so so-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Why do you come here, when you know it makes things hard for me?
When you know, oh why do you come?
You have to sneak into my room, just to read my diary
It was a just to see, just to see
all the things you knew I'd written about you
Oh so many illustrations oh but
I'm so very sickened, I am so sickened now
It was a good lay, good lay,
It was a good lay, good lay,
It was a good lay, good lay, oh oh
