For this song, you have two possibilities: either you play it in Drop D entirely (but
you're going to have some
problems with the clean part), or you play the first part in standard E and quickly
switch to Drop D (something
which you may have to practice) when the vocals leave definitively. I'll tab this with
the 2nd option.

As for the sound, I personally tune my guitar to C tuning and get it back in E with a
capo on 4th fret. This is
to achieve that typical flappy metal sound thanks to looser strings, which fits pretty
well to the song.
