Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We're still building then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you...
It's all I can do
The city's a flood
D
And our love turns to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind
Trampled in dust
G
I'll show you a place
Bm
High on the desert plain
A
Where the streets have no name
Csus9
Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
Still building then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do
Our love turns to rust
D
And we're beaten and blown by the wind
G
Blown by the wind
Oh and I see love
D
See our love turn to rust
And we're beaten and blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
G
Oh when I go there
Bm
I go there with you
A
It's all I can do
D

Note: the main technic for this song is to play the chords in the highr way posible, the stings with palm-mute and to change the chords for time to time as the voice change.

Song: Where The Streets Have No Name (Live) Artist: U2 Album: U2 go Home - Live From Slane Castle, Ireland Tabber: Andrew Marks
This version of the song can be heard on Live from Slane Castle DVD. Set your guitar on typical Edge settings, including delay and some reverb. This tab is not written in correspondence with the exact strumming patterns. As with most tabs, the easiest way to learn the song better is to listen to it too.
Basic chord progression:
[Verse] D - G - Bm - A - C
[Chorus] D - G - Bm - A - D
Harmonics (Electric piano / Strings) progression go during the intro like thus: D - G - D - G - Bm - A
Begin this guitar intro with the change the beginning of D E|10--------------10--------------10---------------| B|--10----------10--10----------10-----------------| G|----12--11--12------12--11--12-------------------| D|-------------------------------------------------| A|-------------------------------------------------| E|-------------------------------------------------|
[Verse 1] Listen to the song to get the rhythm of this part. Edge simply squeezes his fingers down then lightly mutes them again repeatedly. He simply plays D - G - D - A then back to the main riff.
[Verse 3] For those with the hammer thing on the guitars which loosen the strings and give the damp effect, utilise this here. Edge plays a clean D, I think with maybe some added distortion, then gives it the bendy sound. The riff goes simply like this, then straight back to main riff.
